Paying for ‘buy shipping’ via credit card

As we are being forced to buy stamps etc through Amazon I wondered if there was a way to pay for these via a credit card? This would mean getting 30 days to pay the credit card bill to help cash flow.

One of the benefits of Royal Mail OBA is 30 days terms. Not only do we loose our rates if we have to use ‘buy shipping’, we also loose these terms.

I’ve not used ‘buy shipping’ before so not sure how/if this is possible after reading the help pages earlier, so would appreciate any help or ideas please

No, not as yet.
The payment for buy shipping is taken from your balance. As far as I know there is no option to pay with an alternative method.

The same as most other fees - your balance goes into the negative and at the next disbursement date they use your charge method to take it if it’s still negative.

If you start with a zero balance and use Buy Shipping to purchase your post labels the cost of postage is charged to your account but the value of the order is credited -

so if you sell a 1kg item for £22.99 and use Royal Mail 2nd class small parcel via Buy Shipping to post it, your balance after the transaction would be £16.62 (ex VAT)

Being made up of
Sale Price £22.99
less
Amazon fees £3.52
Less
Postage £2.85 (Small parcel 2nd class)

Balance £16.62

This balance would be available 7 days after latest EDD.
