Is UPS stll the cheapest option when shipping LTL?

Hi guys,

Obviosuly when shipping spd UPS is a no brainer as its the cheaper but alot of ppl online talk about using other couriers for LTL, why is that? Is UPS no longer the cheapest option when shipping ltl?
