Minimum Pricing

Very simple, can someone please explain why Amazon say as a fact that a price is below the minimum price when clearly the price is higher than the minimum price, it is very clear that there is a serious issue in Amazon with this minimum pricing, just look at the screenshots and tell me that it is correct? The listings are all suspended as Amazon state as a FACT that the selling price is below the minimum price, it is clear that the price is higher than the minimum price.

Hello BigWhiteRabbit,

You're currently listed as the only seller for 'dad' (at £8.99) but you're not listed for 'grandfather' where there are 2 offerings at substantially lower prices than yours...

As for what Amazon's sytems report, that is beyond my comprehension...

I am so tired of this, I think I will just give up, seller support have had 8 months to try and resolve this issue and still nothing.

Hi Adam, this has been going on for 5 months and there are 10 tickets, I have given up, it is evident that there is a serious issue on the page, it is not possible for a selling price to be lower than the minimum price, the page will not allow you to do it, so for every listing to be suspended because the selling price is lower than the minimum price is simply wrong.

The technicians have hundreds of errors on the pages and never do anything about it, so it will have to stay as it is, I do not even want minimum pricing as it is a waste of time but it cannot be removed for some strange reason

Anyway I do not amend pricing any longer I just delete the products and relist them at the price I want, there is then no minimum pricing in the new listing.

10 different seller support agents have looked at this and not one even understood the question that I was asking, this is Amazon, so we have to get used to it and find workarounds, a bit like 30% of the Amazon catalogue having errors and nobody to do anything about it.

Hi, this is one of the cases and if you have the time to read it you will see the incompetence of the replies and the way it was handled, I don't expect any resolution to this as they simply do not understand that the selling price CANNOT be lower than the minimum price as Amazon won't allow a listing to be amended to lower than the minimum price, so how can a listing be suspended with that reason when it cannot exist?

Many thanks, as the only real person in Amazon that I have had contact with over the last 6 months since my account manager was promoted and excluding seller support, who don't count as they only use a computer to answer questions, is there any plan in place to provide any meaningful support for sellers that does not involve seller support, is there any means of contacting anyone in Amazon for issues that we have?

I was offered an account manager at £1500 a month, but it was made clear that they were not there to resolve issues and they were only there to sell Amazon products such as advertising and FBA.

I would be interested to know going forward does Amazon have any interest in their 3rd party sellers and their development and are there any plans for sellers to be able improve their businesses by getting their issues resolved by a real person in Amazon?
