Minimum Pricing
Very simple, can someone please explain why Amazon say as a fact that a price is below the minimum price when clearly the price is higher than the minimum price, it is very clear that there is a serious issue in Amazon with this minimum pricing, just look at the screenshots and tell me that it is correct? The listings are all suspended as Amazon state as a FACT that the selling price is below the minimum price, it is clear that the price is higher than the minimum price.

You're currently listed as the only seller for 'dad' (at £8.99) but you're not listed for 'grandfather' where there are 2 offerings at substantially lower prices than yours...
As for what Amazon's sytems report, that is beyond my comprehension...

Hi, this is one of the cases and if you have the time to read it you will see the incompetence of the replies and the way it was handled, I don't expect any resolution to this as they simply do not understand that the selling price CANNOT be lower than the minimum price as Amazon won't allow a listing to be amended to lower than the minimum price, so how can a listing be suspended with that reason when it cannot exist?

Many thanks, as the only real person in Amazon that I have had contact with over the last 6 months since my account manager was promoted and excluding seller support, who don't count as they only use a computer to answer questions, is there any plan in place to provide any meaningful support for sellers that does not involve seller support, is there any means of contacting anyone in Amazon for issues that we have?
I was offered an account manager at £1500 a month, but it was made clear that they were not there to resolve issues and they were only there to sell Amazon products such as advertising and FBA.
I would be interested to know going forward does Amazon have any interest in their 3rd party sellers and their development and are there any plans for sellers to be able improve their businesses by getting their issues resolved by a real person in Amazon?

Hi, by the time anyone has figured out how to use one of those inventory files I could have deleted and relisted 100 items, it is not a case of changing multiple listings at one time it is about changing prices as needed when required.
For 10 years all you had to do was change the price to whatever you wanted it to be, now no matter what price you put from 99p to £1,000 it suspends the listing and gives the message that the selling price is below the minimum price and as it is obvious that the system will not allow you to put a price lower than the minimum price so something is wrong.
I do not want minimum pricing it is of no use to me and yet Amazon insist on making up a minimum price that I did not choose, you cannot delete minimum pricing so once again the only option is to delete and relist and so far there are no minimum prices added to the new listings so they can be adjusted again as required so I suppose once I have deleted all the current listings and replaced them it should work.

As previously advised, deleting and relisting products is not the recommended approach here. Instead, The team suggests to submit a full product update using the inventory file template. This will allow you to update the minimum and maximum prices, or remove the minimum price entirely by leaving those fields blank in the file.
By submitting a full update through the inventory file, the system can re-evaluate the pricing information without the need to delete and relist. This should help resolve the persistent minimum pricing issues you are facing.
If the problem still persists after submitting the inventory file update, please provide the Batch ID so I can further escalate this to the appropriate team for investigation.
The key is to avoid the delete-relist workaround and instead use the inventory file update process to make the necessary pricing changes. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi Adam, I have spent 10 years trying to use an inventory file and never had any success and there is no help available either, so that is not an option, we will just leave it as it is,

Here is the reply from Amazon as they delist another 50 products of mine, we might as well all give up because Amazon are going to find one way or another to get rid of us all.
Examples of pricing errors include offers priced below your specified 'minimum price', above your specified 'maximum price', or offers priced significantly higher than recent prices offered on or off Amazon. Sellers are responsible for setting their own prices in our store. When possible, we share reference prices for these products to help inform typical price ranges expected by customers.
