Should I create a separate account?!
I’m a UK selling looking to sell in US. I see in the “list globally” section there is an option to link accounts? i.e Japan, US etc…
Should I link my UK and US account or create a separate amazon seller account for US?
Cheers,
Steve

If you already have a US account to link to then starting another without Seller Performance permission will result in a suspension.
Multiple seller accounts:
Operating and maintaining multiple Seller Central accounts is prohibited. If you have a legitimate business need for a second account, you can apply for an exception to this policy:
- Go to Contact us.
- Click Selling on Amazon, select Your account, then select Other account issues.
In your request, please provide an explanation of the legitimate business need for a second account. To be considered for approval:
- You must have a separate bank account for each Seller Central account. We will not approve multiple Seller Central accounts that use the same bank account within the same region. If you sell across regions (for example in North America and Europe), you can use the same bank account for your Seller Central accounts as long as your accounts are linked though Amazon Global Selling.
- Each account must have a separate email address.
- The products and services sold in each account must be different.
- Your Performance Metrics must be in good standing.
You’ll receive a response to your request within two to three business days.
(Yeah … maybe not that quick…)

You are allowed to have a separate Seller Account in each Amazon marketplace, without having to request any prior permission from the Seller Performance.
If you currently only have a Seller Account in Europe, simply register a new account in the USA using this link:
https://services.amazon.com/content/sell-on-amazon.html
The option to link accounts, which you are referring to is talking about the opportunity to create an Unified Account, using your current international accounts.
So in case that you have an existing account in the USA, you would be able to link it with the European one. But definitely don’t open a new account.
