Cosmetics - cosmetic ingredient - amazon requirements
Hello,
I am in process of selling pure jojoba oil. My compliance consultant suggested that if i don’t want to write on my label “helps skin…” that i can market this product as cosmetic ingredient and be completely compliant with EU laws. By doing that i wouldn’t need to submit PIF, CPSP etc on CPNP portal.
If they allow it, what category would it be then?
I am curious what are amazon requirements for this product. Does amazon allow selling of cosmetic ingredients or they require CPNP registration regardless. I am just drawing a parallel with CBD oil that is restricted on amazon but completely legal in most countries.

You will need approval for the category as a jojoba oil is a Topical product.
