Countries
Read onlyThe recent update to the VTR policy says:
"All cross-border shipments to and from Germany, , France , Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Austria or Sweden will be included in VTR calculation, unless the order value below is €20 (including shipping, excluding VAT) and a ‘letter’ ship method was used."
Based on this, it sounds like it's for EU only. Amazon live chat agent said the same. However, I got them to escalate internally to double check and now they've said VTR for this applies globally, not just for the EU countries stated. However I am not sure what to believe, does anyone know the answer with certainty?
Sorry but i wouldn't trust anything seller support say. Especially when it comes to VTR.
To be fair, when VTR has been updated, its often the case that other pages are incorrect. However, I would take that on the policy page as the rules.
It apples to all orders going from and to those countries unless the value is under 20 euro and is a letter ship method.
Those are the rules
How I read this was if you're shipping from those countries to anywhere else in the world, it applies, and also if you're selling from anywhere else in the world in to one of those countries, it applies.
So from the UK to France would, and from Australia to France would, but form UK to Australia wouldn't.
