No prep required - anyone doing this?

I am currently doing FBA and selling crafting kits. They come in a cardboard box that is part of my branding. I have been wrapping them in suffocation bags when sending them for FBA.

However, I start to really think this bag is unnecessary and is quite a waste, especially that, as a Handmade business, I promote eco-conscious values.

Has anyone been sending their shipment to Amazon as “no prep required” and have you had any customer complaints about damaged packaging? I know my kits would be fine between the warehouse and the customer as Amazon packs them but I just wonder what are the conditions like in warehouse and the handling of products?

Many thanks for input

There are media stories about how unreasonably fast the Amazon packers are expected to work (and their short work breaks) so I don’t imagine they are going to be over-delicate in their handling. And you don’t want claims for “Used sold as new” because they arrive scruffy or dirty (the goods, not the Amazon workers )

You dont have to use plastic, I use compostable bags to keep plastic use o a minimum
