Can a mod assist in removing negative feedback for an item we do not sel

Hello,

Can a mod please help in removing negative seller feedback for an order (ID 204-5239412-7255501) which appears they have mixed up with another one of their orders? The buyer states "Arrived in resealed battered box no instructions appears pre used. Not happy at all with this. Only half the lights work", this would not be associated with any items we sell and especially as the order they have referred to is for a calendar which obviously does not contain any lights nor would it have been sent in a "resealed battery box", just a simple plain large letter postal box.

I have tried using the automatic feedback removal but this did not work. I have also tried contacting the customer but there is no option to allow me to do this. I have raised a couple of cases (ID 10659818052 and 10649444662) however they recommend either contacting the buyer (which I cannot as mentioned above), try the automatic feedback removal (as mentioned above which did not work) or publicly responding to the negative feedback. I have seen other seller have had luck and managed to get a mod to look into it further so could a mod please help me with this?

It has been mentioned several times before that there should be an additional criteria for feedback removal - for feedback left for wrong item / or not even sold by the seller. Hopefully one of the mods you have tagged might be able to escalate the suggestion to the correct department.

Have you submitted a request to remove the feedback through the Feedback Manager?

  • Go to the Feedback Manager .
  • In the Recent Feedback table, next to the specific Order ID, select Request removal under the Actions column.

Once you have gone through the standard process and, if it is unsuccessful, please let me know, and I will check if I can assist you further.
