Read onlyHi, is anyone having issues doing refunds, as customer has asked for a refund for non delivery but we are unable to make a refund , we keep getting this message "Orders without a return request cannot be refunded from the Seller app" . Rang customer service but they told me we have to tell the customer to open a A-Z CLAIM. Can someone please explain what is going on.
Don't use the App for our business - so can't confirm that, however, we can still refund via the Seller Central site in browser. The only exception to this is for orders that are Invoice by Amazon
The suggestion from Seller Support is dangerous. Do not ask the customer to open an A-Z claim unless you want to get your account shuttered.
yes me , cant do it from messages , says im on the app , which i aint ??
This is definitely an issue with the mobile browser site appearing, needs fixing ASAP.
Our fix was to remove the /m/ from the address bar. It should then give you an error and to click on the correct order link. This should bring up the desktop version of the order screen.
I have had this issue - the only way I could find to get round it was to go into shipped items and refund that way - I do not want buyers to open A2Z as that will go against me
It is more time consuming -until they fix the issue

TECH FIXED TODAY :)
unable to make a refund , we keep getting this message "Orders without a return request cannot be refunded from the Seller app"
The seller App does not allow this. There is an option to 'view order in browser'. Click this and it will take you to the order via your browser and you can issue a refund from there. DO NOT ask the customer to open an A-Z Claim. At the very most, you could ask the customer to open a returns request if you do not want to use your browser.
