Temporarily suspending my account
Hi there,
I am thinking of temporarily suspending my Amazon seller account, I would like to know what is the right procedure? If I temporarily suspend my seller’s account would I still be charged for the monthly sellers fee?

You downgrade to Personal or whatever it’s called. I did this and when I was ready to come back, it went through smoothly, though now a month or so later I’m getting verifications, but that could be just coincidence.

You need to downgrade to the Individual selling plan so you are not charged the fees.
Go to Settings - Account Info - Your Services - Manage, and downgrade from Professional to Individual.
Then you need to activate holiday settings.
Settings - Account Info - Listings Status - Going on Holiday - Inactive.
Your account can remain like that for as long as you want, but do be aware that you will still need to respond to any queries or it will affect your metrics - though after a period of time you are unlikely to get any as your items will not be visible to buy.
