1. When creating a percentage-off discount, you'll need to set an absolute minimum price (the button stays grayed out until you do). I recommend setting your minimum price a few cents below your intended discounted price. For example, if you want a 5% discount on a $33 product (making it $31.35), set the minimum price at $31.33 to ensure the discount works.
2. Regarding the "please update your lowest price" message - are you seeing this on the discount page or in your inventory? I saw similar warnings in my inventory because the system detected the discounted price as a reference price while the regular price remained unchanged. While it's confusing to get these warnings for your own discount, it seems to be how the system works. You might want to check if you have any automated pricing rules set up (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G201994820) that could be affecting your prices.

For reference, according to the "Price discounts > Eligibility criteria" section (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G7F8CQ4EJ5YA4272), discounts must be:

• At least 5% off the 30-day lowest price bought by customers
• At least 5% off the current price
• At least 5% off the reference price (for products with a validated reference price)

Make sure you meet all these criteria to avoid any issues.
