Amazon Packing Slips - Can I use my own?

Another day, another question!

Amazon says you have to include a packing slip with your orders, which is understandable. My question is this:
Do I have to use the Amazon packing slip, or can I create my own to use?

The reason I ask is that I buy the postage through the Royal Mail click & drop system. This generates a sort of packing slip with the postage labels.

Would including that in the packages be ok to do, if I can get the relevant information on it, rather than having to throw that piece away, and use the Amazon slips, or do I have to use the Amazon ones?

Apologies if this has been asked already.

Yes, you can use whatever you like. Just don’t put any advertising for your off-amazon website onto it.

It always makes me chuckle when these rules don’t apply to Amazon themselves. How many years has it been since FBA orders stopped including a delivery note?

You can configure your C&D settings so that a packing slip isn’t generated if that would be your preference. It’s in settings>templates>do not generate despatch notes

Virtually none of the megasellers include packing slips.

Strange that some people get packing slips and others do not. I have not had one for years. Maybe it’s to do with which warehouse items are sent from.

Or maybe there’s a setting in the depths of the Amazon website where you can opt out of them.

I always print my own which I generate from the sales invoice, always printing 2 , so I keep 1 for my records.
I DO NOT use drop and go as it could slow down your deliveries, when I pay for a service I want to see it done while I wait, i’m not trying to help my local post office increase their sales in shorter hours…let them open longer instead

We only use the Click and Drop packing slip, no point in printing 2 lots, we only then need to access Seller Central to make sure that all orders have been marked as dispatched, this is an essential task as Click and Drop does seem to miss the odd order now and then, so you then have to do any that are left manually.
