Opening a seller account in India

Hi.... seeking some advise on selling on Amazon India.

Has anyone here used a UK (or EU) Limited business to open a seller account in India?

Looks like we need to apply for a GST number from the Indian government and have India based warehousing facilities.

Anyone been through the process and can share any experiences?
