Read onlyHi there,
I have received an order in my UK Amazon Seller Central Account with a delivery address for Germany. I cannot see how i get an IOSS number for me to add to the Commercial Invoice and customs details.
I have looked at Order - Order Report - switching on IOSS - but the report doesn't pull an IOSS number next to the order line.
I am concerned that if i send the order to Germany without this number i will be charged the local VAT + duty.
Does anyone have any advice?
thanks Phil
If you buy the postage through Royal Mail click and Drop, when you go to fill in the customs information there is a box that says did you sell this item through an online marketplace. If you select yes to this question it opens another menu where you can select the marketplace (amazon) from a drop down menu, then it prepopulates Amazon's IOSS number and you just have to supply the Amazon Order number on the form.
Your order details page on Amazon will tell you if the order is IOSS applicable and should give you the IOSS number as well.
Bear in mind that IOSS is not applicable for orders with a value over 150 Euros or if the order was placed as B2B.
Do you have an EORI number? You're legally required to have one to import into the EU, but they are free. I believe you still get them from UK gov website.
