My new listings are missing the description and key features, please help
Hi,
I’m new to Amazon and trying to list an item has been an absolute nightmare.
I’ve tried several times and not succeeded to create a listing where it just works. I follow the recommended steps, have registered my brand, and fill in the relevant info including pictures, descriptions and keywords.
Initially everything looks fine, a day later, the key features or description is missing from the product page (sometimes even both are missing). This has happened so many times and I just cant figure out whats going on.
I had another case where the new listing was missing pictures, I contacted support to fix this, they fixed the pictures and now the description and key features are missing.
Please can someone advise what I’m doing wrong, I’m sure it shouldn’t be this difficult to sell on Amazon.
Any help/advice would be really appreciated.

Far too many hoops to jump through, even before you start selling (though many vitally necessary and important as too many scammers and people who know nothing about business thinking they can just set up and sell), policies to adhere to and performance metrics to meet

Hi, I see this post is a few weeks old now - but I thought I would reply anyway just to let you know that you are not alone in your frustration of how cumbersome it is to get listings on. I have also experienced missing pictures, missing descriptions etc. It took over a month to get a simple variation listing looking the way it should, whereas it took around 20 mins on an alternative platform. I am highly literate when it comes to IT, and a reasonably experienced business owner - so it isn’t a case of lack of knowledge of how market places/systems work etc. I am not afraid of hard work - and I expect there to be hiccups, but it has honestly driven me crazy trying to get my initial listings up, and running around in circles trying to fix something only for something else to disappear is such a waste of hours and energy. I do hope you have managed to sort things out sine you posted this thread, and wish you all the best on your Amazon journey
