Amazon Lost Inbound Shipment – Case Rejected Despite Providing Required Documents
Hello Amazon Seller Community,
I’m reaching out to ask for advice regarding an issue with an inbound shipment to Amazon’s fulfillment centers. Recently, we shipped our products from the USA to Amazon warehouses via UPS, and unfortunately, some boxes were lost in transit. In the past, we have had similar situations where shipments were lost, and after providing the necessary documents (invoice and packing slips), Amazon processed a reimbursement for the missing products. However, for this particular shipment, despite submitting the same documents, our case was rejected, and we are unsure why. Has anyone else faced this issue where identical documents were accepted in one case but rejected in another? How did you manage to escalate the situation, and what approach worked for you to get Amazon to reconsider? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @Seller_C4wjavMN7kQ7E,
Dominic from Amazon here. The documents provided unfortunately do not meet the requirements needed to provide a reimbursement. When providing proof of ownership the invoice needs to match exactly what was shipped.
Best,
Dominic
