FBA inventory items inactive even though "reserved"
All my items have been received at the fulfillment centre but even though they are showing as “reserved” they are still showing as “inactive/out of stock” after two days. Is this normal?

Click the little arrow next to the number in reserved to see more info.

it says " Reserved Quantity
Are FC Transfer units available for sale?
Units in FC Transfer status are available for customers to buy. Customers may be shown a future ship date if no units are available for immediate fulfilment."
But as i say they are showing as “inactive” so they aren’t available for sale - when I click on the item to see it live on Amazon as a customer would it says “item unavailable, we don’t know when it will be back in stock” - well they shoud do as they are the ones processing this supposedly!

Thanks Demel yes it does say “FC Processing” so yes they’re not available yet which is highly frustrating as it looks like no sales for the weekend…
This is only my second FBA shipment - I did a small one to test it out a couple of weeks ago and it only took a few days from sending to them being available. Now this larger shipment has taken almost a week - is this Christmas rush or just unlucky?

I got an email from Amazon today saying congratulations your shipment is all received and available for prime delivery etc. I got all excited except this actually referred to my first "test"shipment I talked about and is all sold a week ago! Meanwhile, the latest larger shipement I sent till sits in the “FC processing” section with no update, no nothing.
The latest update time shows as Friday morning - its now sunday night so if this is a 24/7 operation I’m certainly not seeing any evidence of it and as I said in my earlier post I’ve missed out on an entire weekend of orders for products that I actually could have fulfilled myself. Why “champion” FBA for small sellers if this is what you end up with? I’ve got a load of my stock sat in a warehouse doing absolutely nothing through no fault of my own…REALLY bad Amazon, really bad.

FBA is fab but just imagine the crazy amount of boxes they will be receiving right now, I know its frustrating but its no different to any other outlet that is struggling for christmas, couriers etc.

Interesting and of course I accept this is a busy time - out of interest what’s your experience of FBA how long would you expect the process to take for your products to be available for sale? Are things processed at weekends - year round or seasonally?

Up to last week, in certain centres, my stock was collected, delivered and out on sale within 3 days, other centres, particularly small and light ones have been slower but generally I really couldnt complain at the speed of things getting turned around. I do label and prep myself which does make it quicker.
From the middle of last week, UPS are struggling to collect the number of boxes I’m trying to ship so things have slowed up right through the chain
Hope this helps
