How to close my deactivated account?
I would like to close my seller account but it won't let me because it was deactivatd many years ago. I don't sell anything anymore and I just want to to close it but when I attempt to do this via account management there is no option to close the account because it has been deactivated. Help!

Simply put, you cannot close a deactivated account (for the express reason to ensure amazon can link other newly opened accounts to deactivated ones).
You would need to reactivated it (and for that, you'd need to know why it was deactivated and appeal it) and then close it.

The only other option would be to let it go dormant, but if you ever wanted to sell again it would then of course need to be reactivated.

As a matter on interest, does your Amazon profile page still exist?
I believe they can stay online for years after the account goes dormant.

Hi @Seller_zRyCyLm3VUmM6,
Indeed, as shared by others, you will have to first reactivate your account in order to then be able to close it.
Let us know if you have further questions on this.
