Amazon Refund Initiated for Order 026-6869660-5099560

Hi, I cant find a way to dispute this refund via Seller Central. The refund Amazon has initiated is because the buyer (Samir) "never received the goods" . I have a POD photo from DPD showing the parcel being handed over to a person who signed for it as Samir. Its £19.99, not a vast amount of money but more the principle that the goods have been delivered on time, signed for, but still a refund has been initiated.

If you have proof of signature (ie you paid for a signed service very rare these days) this should be overruled. Tag some mods in with the case number and someone will look at it. Amazon generally just believe the seller and most of the time there is no signature so you lose if you have a pod signature worth pursuing.

Amazon does not seem to care much about sellers, and many of us have faced similar situations. You can still dispute this case. Go to the dispute section where the buyer opened the claim, then go to Performance > A-to-z Guarantee Claims. Click on the option to appeal, and if your case is eligible, you should be able to submit a claim.

I wish you good luck.

Hello @Seller_J5GpwldP4AOsy,

Thank you for reaching out, and thanks to everyone who has contributed to this discussion. I understand how frustrating it can be when you have delivery confirmation yet a refund is still issued especially when the tracking shows the parcel was handed over and signed for by the named recipient.

Since this was an Amazon-initiated refund rather than an A-to-Z claim, the way to dispute this is through a SAFE-T claim (Seller Assurance for E-Commerce Transactions). This allows you to request reimbursement when you believe you shouldn't be held financially responsible for a refund issued on your behalf.

To file one, head to Orders->Manage SAFE-T Claims in Seller Central, select the order, and submit your DPD proof of delivery photo, the signature confirmation and the tracking number confirming on-time delivery. Include a brief note explaining the parcel was delivered on time and signed for by the named buyer. A signed proof of delivery with the buyer's name matching is strong evidence for these types of claims. The investigation team will review your submission and the supporting documentation.

For further reference on the SAFE-T process, you can visit our Reimbursement for seller-fulfilled orders help page.

Regards,

Billy
