Some of my FBA items are missing. I also sent 11 products that unfortunately were not captured on the shipping workflow. I did not realize until after the fact. I have contacted seller support and I was advised to send documentations to support ownership. Does anyone know how long this process normally takes? I just want to make sure the items are accounted for. I know it is in Amazon's possession because all my items were sent in one shipment ( box). I am just afraid to send another shipment for this reason.
Based on my experience, when I mistakenly sent units that were not supposed to be in the shipment, the units eventually, after a month or so, showed up as listed for selling.
The mistake is ours for shipping in units that are not on the workflow. However, they will accept it. There will be a delay, understandably, because the fulfillment centre needs to process it to ensure that you have sent a sell-able unit, that it is not hazmat, expiry dates etc if applicable.
Several years ago, in 2015 or so, the seller support was so gracious, that they took ownership of it's loss (there was just one unit) and even reimbursed me within 72 hours (at the time, they processed it all within 72 hours), which was eventually reversed when it sold.
Times have changed but your units will not be lost. The fulfillment centre would process it. You would, however, need to give them ample time to process it.
