Struggling to get thermal labels from Royal Mail?

I keep ordering thermal labels from Royal Mail and they keep not arriving.

I’m down to my last two rolls, which I had to buy on Amazon and when they arrived they were Royal Mail ones. So, great, I’m paying for labels I should get for fee. :frowning:

Anyone else have this issue and can recommend alternative (legitimate) suppliers?

Have you double checked the address you are inputting ?
Mine usually take approx 4 to 5 days and come through parcelforce.

Are you getting the confirmation email from RM with your order number etc ?

We usually don’t have problems, but the last batch we ordered was a batch of 6 and only 2 came, then 4 more came a few days later. I put it down to a one off, I hope it’s not the start of a pattern.

I believe there is a supply shortage not surprising considering everything that’s going on.
Hence some are getting split deliveries.
Royal mail can be poor with supplies normally grey sack around peak times.
I order and keep ordering.
Don’t reorder until your last one arrives or 10 days has passed. The system cancels last order when you place another order as in you can only have one order active at one time.
Supplies top service manager told me that.

If I order 2 or more rolls they come via Parcelforce, however, if I’m low, I just order ONE roll, and it gets delivered by the postie along with the letter mail, which usually comes in a couple of days, quicker than the Parcelforce service which usually takes a week

I always order sufficient for a considerable timeframe. This way you have the supplies you need and only need to reorder when you reach a signficant point in time.

On another note - in addition to items I did order I received two boxes of stuff I didn’t order last time! Unfortunately it was the same item and something I couldn’t use in the business, so I had to give them to the collection driver to hopefully pass on to another business who might be able to use them…!

I would report the company you bought them from to Royal Mail, but them I’m petty like that.

They shouldn’t be selling them.

Speak to your account manager, mine is always really helpful, they can put an order through for you or chase an outstanding one

I usually order 4 at a time, my last order was only 2 rolls, I double checked I ordered 4 but they only sent 2, and the packing slip said I’d ordered 2.

There was a survey a couple of weeks about them going to 3x4 labels instead of 6x4, I wonder if they’re in short supply because they’re phasing them out.

Our problem is usually the grey bags pita when your only sending 20 odd items but the different classes cover 6 mail sacks. In the past when running low have had to go and see the chap at the local sorting office and can always get some off of him. He has also said if we are having problems with deliveries we can speak to the manager there and they will chase up might be an option for you if its close by.

The last order of rolls was a bit excessive but it was pre christmas and the other half ordered 2 boxes from them.
