Orders to Ireland from UK

How do i keep getting orders to ireland so wrong?

Firstly £5.50 is paid to me in shipping - i assume i can increase this to £10 as the customers ALWAYS expect tracked and it costs £10 to do this,

Secondly - even when we do send it - it gets stuck at customs and (sometimes returned to us) with the same reason given everything... Incorrect VAT Number / Identifier nuimber ???

How can this be i am USING THE SAME DETAILS that are generated on the paperwork which clearly show AMAZONs vat number - it even says "amazon are collecting VAT on this item" i am not VAT registered i dont turnover anywhere near the threshold.

that is now 5 orders over this year that have been returned to me with a RED Sticker with box ticked to suggest incorrect VAT or identifier number both of which are visible on the paperwork amazon provide, i even fill in a customs declaration copying all of this info.

thanks

To set your own postage, you need to be on the professional selling plan.

For customs, how are you purchasing postage? Is Amazon's IOSS number printed on the postage label?

Amazon's VAT number is irrelevant.

You use their IOSS number. You will also need the correct tariff code for your items and your EORI number, both easy to look up or apply for from HMRC.

Suggest you research what is required and how to present it on the CN22.

You might find DPD easier to use. For packages they tend to be cheaper than RM to Ireland. Also fully tracked and quicker and will more or less walk you through the customs stuff as you book the order.
