Customer Delivery Notes not appearing on our 4x6 labels

Hi,

Hoping there's some tech genius that has figured this out, we do quite a bit of FBM and even though customers do leave instructions for delivery and we can see it on the order exports we don't get those details on the output onto our 4x6 labels (using a Zebra GK420D).

Tried various Print settings in Veeqo but not having any joy. Hand written notes on the label isn't professional!

Thanks for reading!

I don’t have an answer but I would suggest that you should avoid printing the delivery notes on the label as they are 99% of the time completely irrelevant to the order, in my experience, e.g. “we are out tomorrow, please deliver after 12th September” for an order placed today.

Hi @Seller_1HNtcPxkW4KbC

You’re correct that customer delivery instructions can appear in order details and exports. The challenge is that the standard 4x6 labels generated through Amazon Buy Shipping, including labels created through Veeqo, are generally built around the carrier’s required information only. Those labels are designed to print delivery addresses, tracking details, barcodes, and service information, but customer notes typically aren't included in that label format. That's why changing settings usually doesn't have any visible effect on the printed label itself.

A few options that sellers commonly use as a workaround:

• Use a packing slip or pick list

Veeqo allows more flexibility with packing slip and pick-list templates. You can add customer notes or delivery instructions there and include that document with the order. Some sellers place it in a clear pouch on the package if the information is important for delivery.

• Explore label settings through Seller Central

If you're using Amazon Buy Shipping directly, there may be some additional formatting options available depending on your printer setup and workflow. Thermal printer users sometimes find slightly more flexibility with different label formats.

• Create a secondary instruction label

Some sellers create a small extra label containing only delivery instructions pulled from order data. This keeps the shipping label itself clean while still making important information visible.

• Reach out to Veeqo support

Veeqo is still adding and refining features, and template capabilities change over time. Their support team may be able to confirm whether the "Notes on Template" setting applies only to packing documents or if there are newer customization options available.

Hopefully that gives you a few practical paths to test. Curious to hear if anyone else in the community has found a cleaner workflow for this.
