FBA Fees Overcharging?
Has anyone else noticed they are being overcharged FBA fees?
One of my items shows FBA fee of €17.92 inc €5.75 FBA fee, they have actually charged me €29.73
This is the reply …
First of all, I would like to thank you for the time you have dedicated to contact us. Kindly, let me explain to you that we have already refunded you the difference since the FBA charges were charged incorrectly by system. The reimbursement ID is ***********. The total amount of reimbursement is €8.52
So far ALL the ones I have checked are incorrect, in many cases the “including FBA fee” is added on again.

Just another one of their many little scams. I wonder how many sellers won’t have even noticed.
I’ve had a number of issues with FBA discrepancies and when you question it they try and fob you off with meaningless policy statements or dead end links that prove nothing.
I was refunded almost £1500 last week on my .com account which I believe was for inaccurate charging. In this case Amazon acted of their own accord but most of the time they won’t do anything unless you notice and then you have to push, and push, and keep on pushing.
No wonder they want everyone to go FBA.

Reply from Amazon …
"We have transferred your case to a higher department to review your request and they have informed us that your request is denied. This is due to you having over 50 orders of the ASIN: [B00**********].
We are able to investigate possible wrongly charge fee if sellers provide us with the orders. However, in this case since you don’t know how many and if any other orders were wrongly charge. We can’t investigate individually such a large amount of orders. In this case the department in charge has inform us that this is the seller responsibility to investigate and verify if any other orders were wrongly charged. "
Right, so I have to fix their cock up where they have overcharged me, sounds fair.

Because of this same issue, I run a check on each fortnightly payout report that’s quick and easy (but this will only be a quick task for people who have mostly the same sized products at FBA - otherwise it could take a bit longer to check).
Reports/Payments/All Statements/Download Flat File V2
Sort rows in column N order (payment description)
Block delete all but the weight fee columns
Put the weight fee rows in order of high to low price
The high price ones are now at the top for me to check if they are being overcharged. I copy and paste each order number, forward to seller support and tell them to re-cubiscan them and refund for all overcharged fees. They usually do the scan and amend the system but you have to remind them to refund you again (annoying).
Everyone should do this because even items scanning in correctly can suddenly double in weight fees without warning. Don’t let Amazon get away with it!
