When Amazon can give the new seller the buy box?
Hello, I am new to selling on Amazon. It has been 2 months, I had published 200 FBM listings on Amazon uk site. So my concern is when I can get the buy box.

It’s said that new sellers are excluded from the buy box for 3 months, although that’s not official. You may never get the buy box - it depends on a variety of factors, only one of which is selling price.
Amazon’s buy box algorithms are complex and secret.

The whole buy-box is a mystery. We have had conflicting experiences in every marketplace so far. We are the only sellers of our product and on the Italian marketplace we get the buy-box on every ASIN we create, and continue to do so with no issues whatsoever.
However, on the Spanish and German marketplaces we have around 50 - 60% buy-box rate. It doesn’t really follow any logical sense at all. The ASINs that are losing the buy-box in Spain (to nobody) aren’t necessarily the ones losing the buy-box in Germany (again, to nobody). That tells me it’s not a problem with the ASIN as I would expect similar results across all marketplaces.
We’ve been selling on Amazon since April so we have passed the 90 day threshold therefore I am completely stumped at how it works. I think it’s important to point out that when our ASINs don’t win the buy-box, despite being the only seller, they have never generated any orders. People don’t like clicking the ‘See all buying options’ button I guess.
It’s a crazy system to be honest. It’s kind of killed our Amazon business growth in Spain and Germany. We have brilliant results in Italy too…

Many people have given wrong information. yes, how it was taken secretly, but the 3 month rule is complete nonsense. We have tested many times that there is no such thing. Many factors such as your stocks, prices, shipping times are effective in this regard.
