Amazon has Held my funds for a few years - Please help
Hello everyone,
I’m reaching out for help regarding an ongoing issue I’ve been dealing with for the past few years. Amazon has been holding my funds, and despite numerous attempts to resolve the situation, I am still unable to access my money.
Here’s the timeline of what has happened so far:
About Three years ago, my account was flagged, and my funds were withheld without clear explanation.
I’ve submitted multiple video identification verifications, but nothing has changed, and most of the responses I’ve received from Amazon support have been generic bot replies or completely irrelevant to my issue.
Recently, I was told that if I completed another video ID verification, my funds would be released. I did that, but instead of resolving the issue, I was told my account is “registered as liquidated.”
Background: I have been registered a sole trader, and this "liquidation" claim doesn’t make sense to me and it’s unclear why this is coming up now.
Has anyone else encountered this issue or dealt with something similar? I would really appreciate any advice or steps you’ve taken to resolve this. At this point, I’m out of options and need to get my funds back.
Thanks in advance for your help!

I see you have started the same thread a few times over the last year or so, and one of the replies on a previous thread suggested that you contact the MD - you need to do that. managingdirector@amazon.co.uk

Are you aware that the status of all UK Ltd and PLC companies is freely available for anyone to view via the companies house website?

Your store name showing on here is a limited company that is in liquidation, have you since changed to be a sole trader after the company was liquidated?
