FBA Newbie
Hello everyone, I am currently interested in establishing an online store where I can sell products obtained from a local wholesale warehouse. To streamline the process, I am seeking automation wherever possible. Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) appears to be the perfect solution for me. However, I am hesitant about spending excessive time on printing barcodes and labeling each individual item.
I have heard that Amazon provides an FBA labeling service. Could you please provide information about the associated costs? Additionally, will they print the labels for the shipping boxes when sending FBA items to their warehouse? It’s worth noting that I am based in the UK.
Furthermore, I have come across stories regarding missing stock, which raises concerns about the potential risks. Are there any measures I can take to minimize such risks? For instance, would it be advisable to capture photographs of the stock boxes, not just the size and weight of the items being shipped?
Thank you.

Seller University (click here) is the first place to start as most your questions are answered officially there.
With regard to the last question, additional measures you take such as photographing boxes will be for your use only and will have no effect in any discussions of missing goods with Amazon.

Happens on 80%+ of my shipments & on most sellers shipments you just have to accept it Amazon fc’s are useless at counting & there is nothing you can do to prevent it.
I would never trust Amazon to label sku’s correctly do it yourself.
