Email from france tax regulation compliance - Is this spam or legit?
I’ve just received an email from the above @amazon.fr
There’s a load of spiel about france tax obligations, however as I don’t sell in France and my account for France is set to holiday mode I thought this must be spam.
However, it gives a sample order ID which I’ve checked in my Amazon account and sure enough there was an FBA sale to France last November.
I’ve done all I can to make sure my stuff isn’t sold in France and the buyer has obviously made the purchase on the UK site.
What should I do about this?

I have also received this email about french tax obligations. I no longer ship to France. Apparently I did 7 sales to France in the first half 2020 from Amazon uk. I only sell on the UK site and have never sold on Amazon fr.
I am only a small seller. I have no idea either how to deal with this either. I do not have a tax advisor.

Hi,
It’s genuine.
Amazon is required by law to provide the following information to sellers based in France and sellers who have conducted transactions in France or with customers in France:
