I deleted my listings and get error 8541 when trying to create the same listing

I created a family of parent child listings for a product that we manufacture and are brand owners. I, then, realised a mistake with SKU numbers and some other data so I decided to delete them thinking that this would cause no problems and that I could list them again. Now, when I try to create the listings again, it creates conflicts with the previous listings that I deleted because GTIN numbers are the same.

I've tried to list again by clicking "Add Products" and then "Find your products in Amazon's catalogue" and using the previous ASIN numbers / GTIN numbers. However, these cannot be found in the amazon catalogue.

How can I definitely delete the previous ASINS data so that I can create new listings with our product GTIN numbers or how can I access the ASINS I deleted to make the changes if amazon can't find them in their catalogue?

How can I get in touch with someone in amazon who can understand my issue. I've opened cases and got "copy and paste" replied that won't help with my problem.

Hey Treehouse,

When you create an ASIN, it links to an EAN, and you can't really delete them; if you're lucky, a set amount of time will clear it from the database.

I have a few questions:

How long has it been since you deleted the products?

Do you remember the ASINS and SKUS you deleted? (as you mentioned, you tried to enable them again)

Have you ever used flat files?

were the attributes you did incorrectly locked attributes? or were you coming up with errors when trying to change these?

Regarding contacting someone at Amazon for this exact issue, it's not possible except through support channels, which, as you have seen, are not helpful the majority of the time.
