Very difficult I’m afraid.

For Royal Mail it depends on the services you have used for example CRL and international priority have no compensation so you just lose out.

For Evri, there is limited liability and you have to go through the process on the Evri website by raising a a ticket. The limited liability is £20. To claim from Royal Mail there is an online claim form but you will find it hard to claim anything that you haven’t used fully tracked services.

Buy shipping is just a way of purchasing the post and using Amazon as the intermediary you still need to go directly to these companies if you want to make a claim. You won’t get anywhere going to Amazon for missing parcels regardless of whether it was purchased via Amazon or not.

You need to claim from RM - can be done online. You will need your proof of posting receipt.

Evri is a different matter - you should claim from Evri, but I believe they tell you to claim from Amazon, and Amazon say claim from EVRI !

I post out over 1,000 orders a month and actually ran out of time to claim some items they’re as I didn’t have 10 inrs in 80 days.

Maybe as jilly says it’s the category. My items sell for £2-£3. I guess its not worth the customers time and effort to lie about delivery.

I use 1st/2nd because I’m not vat registered so it’s cheaper than crl, also most of my items are letters being able to claim is a bonus

Courier tracker info. Alternatively, if you can’t get that. Try contact the customer , explain the situation… they should have the tracking info. Then send it to Amazon, and. They will investigate. Takes a few week.

can’t claim lost postage until 10 days after item dispatched/posted, people ask for their refund after ~6 days with me, meaning if it turns up on days 7-10 then thats a free item they have

The biggest bugbear I have is having to fill in all the details. The item is sent via click and drop and all the info is allready stored all there should be is a claim button on each item cick it and forget wait for rm to investigate.
