Read onlySo I have a standard shipping template for some products which does not offer shipping to Ireland (they just never make it so I removed this region from the shipping template a while ago)
Yesterday I recieved an order on the UK platform, to ship to Ireland.
I contacted SS stating they need to cancel this order without affecting my metrics as this it an error on their part, I clearly do not ship to ireland. The stated becuase inventory is available I MUST ship it or else kinda thing.
I had to explain, despite inventory available, it is not available to that region as per my shipping template.
He then said SS would respond via email. They did, and it was useless, stating that Its a Seller Fulfilled Prime order (Which it isnt) and "To participate in the programme, you must be able to deliver Prime orders to England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. These regions are systematically integrated in your Prime template found in your Delivery Settings and cannot be removed."
Which is nonsense due to the fact that this is not a prime shipping template and the order is not a prime order, so again they have no idea what they are talking about and couldnt be more unhelpful if they tried, ironically ending with "Please know that I made every effort to furnish you with accurate information in accordance with our existing policies." Yet couldnt get the facts right.
I am at a loss of what to do, I'm simply not shipping to ireland just to get an A to Z claim, so any suggestions?
Check the actual product in Manage Inventory doesn't have an inventory level override for shipping to Ireland (assuming Republic of Ireland) irregardless of your Shipping Templates.
Because you might likely find it is saying there you do ship to Ireland.
Was it Republic of Ireland and not Northern Ireland, BT postcode?
Hello @Seller_IiLCzWNcEixPU,
Did you check your shipping template assigned to this specific SKU?
I think that's what @Seller_ZJhFeE3tNKzfh, asks you to review.
Here you can find the steps on how to do it:
From Manage Inventory:
In Manage Inventory, the shipping template name is displayed in the Price column for each SKU, underneath the price.
Choose a SKU and click on Edit, and then scroll down to find the Shipping template assigned to it.
Note: The shipping template field is shown only if the ASIN is set to ‘fulfilled by merchant’.
You can find more information and ways how to check it here : Assign SKUs to shipping templates
Please let us know about your findings.
Regards,
