'There is a valid, chargeable credit card on file.'

Hi,

They ask me for Utility bill, a business license. Those 2 I have, but what do they mean with: ‘There is a valid, chargeable credit card on file.’?

I already provided my credit card when registering, so what do they want more?

I hope anyone can help

Yasar

I’min the same boat. Would love to know the answer too. I have an inkling that its because my address does not match exactly word for word with my credit card statement details under ‘Charge management’. I’m trying to find out whether I just need to update this and it will all be fine.

Does the info on your credit card statement match

The address & name will have a part to play in the card rejection.

It may also be due to you possibly using a prepayment card or a card yet to be used. New cards must have been used via pin.

If you are confident that the card is fine removed the card from the account and then added it back again, just make sure the billing address on Amazon account is same as the bank statement.
