Unable to get past owner identity stage of account setup
Hi, this is driving me nuts. I’ve correctly added all the details asked for and I’ve got a page saying "Successfully added all mandatory fields under the headings ‘Business and contact information’ and ‘Primary contact’ and in the latter field it says my name and ‘Primary contact and beneficial owner of’ my company.
The only field that looks like it might need changing is the type of business button, which I’ve filled in as ‘Privately owned’, which it is.
I keep submitting this for verification and they keep sending me emails and messages saying I must add a beneficial owner. I’ve already ticked that box and they’ve even given me a line saying I successfully added all mandatory fields, and a line saying I’m the beneficial owner. When I send Amazon messages I just get the same response, over and over – add the beneficial owner details.
Please can somebody tell me what to do to get through this stupidity.
Thanks

Is it a Ltd Company ???
If so (and you’re UK based) you’re heading for a world of pain. I’ve ended up giving up.
You have to list all directors listed at Companies House as beneficial owners.
Second, and the issue that finished me off with this, if your Co’s Registered Office is an address of an accountant/solicitor etc, then you’ll never get through verification. They will reject your data because 'your business address is not the same as the ‘publicly available information’ as your reg’d office data is held at Companies House. If you change your info to reflect your reg’d office rather than your business address, they will demand a utility bill in your name, from that address, so you’re F’d either way.
No amount of trying to contact/explain/email will make the slightest bit of difference. They’ll just keep rejecting your docs and demand ones that don’t exist.
