Labelling of case-packed new books

Hi there,

I’m new to this, so please forgive my newbie question. I have tried to find the answers in the Amazon documentation, but I’m still missing a few details, as the documents are quite general and says nothing specifically about books.

I have self-published a book I want to sell on Amazon FBA. The books have an ISBN number and a scanable barcode, and are case-packed by the printer. I want to send a pallet of boxes, each containing 4 books.

As I understand it, case-packed items only need a single label on each box, and 4 labels on the pallet (one on each side).

My questions are:

  1. Can I use the ISBN number for identifying the books (I’m the only supplier of this book, I have all available stock in house)?
  2. What should the label on the box/pallet be? The ISBN, or the FNSKU?

Thanks.
