Unable to Add Expiry Date – Flat File Missing Field ?

Hi everyone,

We’re currently trying to remove a listing violation related to missing expiry date on one of our products. We reached out to Amazon Account Health Specialist and were advised to:

Download a flat file for the ASIN .Add the expiry date field Re-upload the file to resolve the violation

We followed the instructions and downloaded:

  1. A blank category flat file
  2. A ListingLoader_prefilled file for the ASIN

However, neither of these templates includes a field to input "expiry date" or "product_expiration_date" (or anything similar). We’ve checked all tabs, even hidden columns, but can’t find it.

Has anyone else faced this?

Is there a specific template we should be using?

Do we need to request access to a different version?

Or is there another way to input expiry dates manually or through case support?

Any guidance would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Hello @Seller_eSLF1DOk6BXAm,

Thanks for reaching out. I have reviewed your listing for SKU: XD-LRLC-58KB and it has the expiration date as true in our system and has since October 2022, so it's not missing anything on the listing.

The issue with your listing being removed is due to your customers getting expired products that you have shipped to them, which you can view under your Voice of the Customer page. You will need to submit more information with your appeal to show how you will correct this issue. You can use this help page to help guide you on what you need to discuss. The help page states its for account reinstatement, but this is what is needed for ASIN appeals as well.

I hope this is helpful!

Michelle
