Auto Authorized Returns.
Sorry I don't get many returns.
I now have two in the system both have been Auto Authorized by Amazon. Yet neither customer has printed out the Amazon return label, or mailed the book back as far as I can see. One is now going on 38 days.
Am I missing something. Or if the customer doesn't print off the label and send the book back will it just fall off my account.
The few returns I've had in the past, the person just filed for the return and mailed the book back.
Neither customer has emailed me other then the notification of a Return from Amazon and I've not communicated with them.
Am I missing something? Has something changed?

Not all buyers who request a return label actually send the item back. If they don't send it back, you don't refund. You don't need to reach out to the buyer about them not sending it back. You should be hoping they don't send it back so you don't have to deal with it and refund them. Buyers are supposed to send an item back within 30 days the request I believe, but technically once they have printed the return label, they can return it at any time they get around to it. I've had returns get received back close to a year after the buyer made the request before.

some buyers think FBM return request are like FBA return requests *where you get insta refunded just for making the return request when you know you are not going to be returning anything

We just ignore them. We'll go through return reasons and comments to see if there is anything we need to improve on our side as far as the product or description go, but unless a return actually comes in, we do not do anything at all with the older return requests and just leave them sitting.

The customer has 30 days to return. After the 30 days if the item has not been returned, you complete the return using the prompts. Select "has not been returned" under the reason. Hope this helps.

New to FBM and got my first return and guess what? The items are used and incomplete not even the manufacturing labels are missing. Hope Amazon to consider the return policy on FBM. Tried to claim under SAFE-T but only small fraction of the expense been credited back. Anyone knows other way to request a full credit back?
