Hello!

Just after a bit of advice from anyone who may of gone through the same thing / experience with this.

I received a email from amazon saying the following -

'-- Provide evidence that you are physically operating your business from your provided address.

-- Provide documents that confirm the identity and place of residence of the sole trader. '

--Please update your Business Registration Extract for further verification. '

Im a sole trader in the UK operating from my home address and I cant seem to get anywhere with the documents im sending amazon.

Any advice / guidance would be appreciated with what exactly I need to send because the email includes a link saying what they will accept but the link says nothing at all about what documents they support! And not sure why im needing to do this because everything was all verified and checked during my account set up?

I have this exact same issue. Have you managed to resolve it? I have sent copies of my passport, driving license and bank statement and yet i'm being asked for more documentation proving I am operating from my home address. I am at a complete loss. I have also raised a support ticket and receive the same template replies.

Same issue here. Problem is, our LTD company is registered under a virtual address that we pay for just so that you don't use your home address on company's house, so it's impossible to provide a utility bill for this.

Hi,

Did you ever get this resolved? I've received the same email even though I already sent everything requested in the original email. I'm a sole trader and sent them ID, utility bills, supplier invoices, bank statements and my VAT certificate, all showing my name and address. I don't have anything else to provide.

We are in the same boat. It would be so simple if Amazon provided a list of acceptable documents and saved everybody so much time, including theirs. I'm not sure anyone feels the same way, but sometimes if feels like Amazon complicates things on purpose. If we are successful at some point we'll post it here what we did.

Same problem here. I am Sole Trader too. Keep getting the same email message requesting documentation. Ive sent everything I can think of but still get the same email reply. If anyone has had success I would love to know what they did.

i have the exact same issue, im a sole trader, been selling on Amazon for nearly three years. Just wondering what triggered Amazon to do the verification again. I have sent my life away, very sensitive information such as passport, driving license, UTR number,Vat Certificate, Sky bill, mortgage bill, you name it. Its been nearly a week and nothing as of yet.
