Setting up account country of citizenship issue
I’ve been trying to set up an account since November, but the verification keeps gettign stuck on this:
I am originally Dutch (from the Netherlands) and lived in Portugal for some years, I had to request a new ID in Portugal about 2 years ago, and now moved to Spain. So far so good you would say, however, as I now live in Spain, I’d say that my country of citizenship would be Spain -> my ID says I’m Dutch and a Dutch citizen.
If I put my country of citizenship to the Netherlands, there’s the issue that my other documents are all for Spain. I’m in a catch 22 and sending mails to seller support with this explanation results to nothing.
Anyone here with an idea what to do?

Amazon requires all account information to exactly match your documents. So you can’t select options based on your choice but rather provide the actual country of your citizenship.
If you are a Dutch citizen, you will need to update your account and then continue with the verification.
You can also e-mail seller-verification-enquiry@amazon.co.uk. This team will be able to answer any questions.

You are a Dutch citizen , resident in Spain . So your country of citizenship is the Netherlands
