How to know if a NEW listing product has been restricted and not allowed to be sold
Hello, I am new to Amazon Seller Forum and here it’s my experience.
I bought a few beauty products to resell from a well known Korean Brand, everything original with certification from supplier etc.
I have been approved to sell Topicals product but then yesterday i received an email saying this:
We have been informed by Hertfordshire Trading Standards that this cosmetic product does not satisfy EU labeling requirements and/or does not provide a responsible person for its placement on the internal market. This product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 on cosmetic products.
Now i guess there’s nothing really that i can do about it but for the future:
How can i know if a New Listing product that is not in the marketplace before has been restricted and not allowed to be sold on amazon uk? is there a way to find out before?
I know there is the scanning app but that’s for products already on the marketplace. I mean for NEW listing product.
Can anyone help me with that?
Thank you

I guess the answer which sounds flippant, but isn’t meant to be, is to do research.

Research the above regulations and check that any products you are thinking about introducing into Amazon’s catalogue satisfies the above regulations

If Trading Standards have become involved then this need sorting asap - also, as advised, check out all your products are compliant with CE regs.

What is the brand of this particular product?

If you would have bought them from Boots the labelling would be correct but you couldn’t sell them as new on here
