Amazon deleting messages???

Rreturn item delivered at 11:32 , buyer "filed" an AtoZ claim at 12:01, I refunded seconds later, AtoZ granted against me?! and defect recorded

Just called Amazon (again) as they refuse to reverse the defect, the buyer insists he didn't want to file an AtoZ ... here is his message to me ....

"Hello, sorry I didn’t want to. I had asked Amazon to see when it was delivered back to you and without me asking he said he had file the AtoZ for me for the refund. I think it was a language barrier"

Amazon insisted to me that they don't file AtoZ on behalf of customers which is untrue as they had done it for me in the past, I asked them to check the messages on Amazon

ALL the customers messages have now disappeared from Amazon .............

As far as I know you should NOT have refunded so quickly, as that basically is admitting your error. The reality is Amazon CS DO open A-z on behalf of customers. The whole A-z system needs changed.
