Buy Shipping - I messed up!
I normally use Click & Drop for my postage (RM personal account).
Today I tried ‘Buy Shipping’ and screwed up - I entered an incorrect value for weight.
So - my shipping label is undercharged.
Is there anyway I can recover/cancel/amend the Buy Shipping label?
Amazon have, of course, marked the order as dispatched now.
As I understand it the ‘Buy Shipping’ label won’t be charged to my account until first scan, so I could just use a Click & Drop label - but I guess the customer will get a ‘looks like your parcel may be lost’ message from Amazon and all the kerfuffle that entails.
What is the best way to go about correcting this?

Not necessarily
Was it CRL with a linked RM account or standard 1st or 2nd class ?

If you are not using it linked to a RM account then you can Refund the Label on the shipment screen. Once you have done this then at the bottom of the shipment screen you have the option to buy shipping again and produce the correct label.
The refunded label takes around a month to be credited back to you if it has been charged to your account.
Depends on which carrier you use in Buy Shipping, EVRI for example you get charged when they collect the item but with RM you normally get charged the moment you buy the label assuming it is not a linked RM account.

If you are dispatching with Royal Mail, rebuying a label on Amazon doesn’t work. Even though they claim it works, it doesn’t work. I refund the label on Amazon and buy a new one on Click & Drop.

Thanks guys - that worked…
Slightly surprised that Amazon didn’t ‘cancel’ the dispatch when I cancelled postage - but also relieved as I can just post via C&D now.
