Cannot covert to FBM - When sent for FBA - "Inventory error" - STUCK?

Hi All - I’m begging for some help here, very very close to throwing the towel in

I have had this issue for over month now

it started when I noticed an item FBA that went out of stock, with new competition and the world in a different way it works out better if I sell a number of items FBM - With this in mind I tried to convert this and a handful of other items to FBM (in separate process’s) and whilst it looked like it all went through ok the listing’s never actually converted.

I raised a case and got the usual copy and paste response, by this time it was easier just to send more stock in as I couldn’t covert.

As some of the items have been received they appeared on Stranded inventory, Strange as the listings are already in FBA. After looking further the reason for stranded was “inventory Error”

I contact SS again to explain, this was the 30th May - I am 28 emails deep back and forth and every time someone else picks up the case I get the same or similar response, I have followed all instructions including closing the listing and re-listing, refresh - You name it, every solution suggested by SS does not work.

Nothing they suggest works, other than loosing the reviews etc that are attached to each one by deleting the listing which has taken 3 years to accumulate I’m not sure of another way around it ?

I am really really at the end of it, desperate for some help.

Any help please |?

What you need to do, is to create a separate FBM listing as well as the FBA listing.
If you are converting an FBA listing, to FBM and there is stock there (or on the way), then they are going to end up stranded.

So I would suggest, that any FBA listing that is currently having a problem, you remove the listing (noting the SKU number first), then recreate it, using said SKU.
Then create a separate FBM listing.

If the SKU is not super important to you I would just add another condition and sell it yourself. Then once FBA has depleted its stock you can delete the FBA one
