how to delete a reactivated account but keep the linked account

Hi All,

To provide a brief overview, I accidentally created a second Amazon seller account in the process of changing my username. One of them is a US account which I wish to close and one of them is a UK account which I intend to operate from.

Since then, I have managed to reactivate the original seller account but I'm not sure how to go about deleting it in order to reactivate the UK one (the advice given is that I need to delete the original account in order to reactivate the second). However, I want to do it the correct way so I don't get deactivated again or accidentally delete both of them.

I have come across a 'request account closure in one of the marketplaces' option but I'm not 100% sure if this is the correct way to close the US account. Any advice would be appreciated :)

Hello @Seller_DqKrtnd7EVXuB

Thanks for getting in touch.

Noticed you've already shared the same info in another post here: Account deactivated due to multiple accounts

So, I'm closing this one as a duplicate. Just a heads-up to avoid creating duplicate threads going forward.

Cheers, Ezra
