ODTR - Royal Mail change of service standard for 2nd class mail
From July 28th Royal Mail will not do daily deliveries for second class mail.
"Second Class letters will be delivered every other weekday (Monday to Friday). First Class letters will still be delivered six days a week (Monday to Saturday)."
Are the powers that be aware of this - as this will effect OTDR percentages.

It will only affect them if you let it.

This should only apply to letters and large letters; parcels should not be affected.
However I'm finding Tracked 48 Parcels becoming increasingly unreliable already.

A lot of the UK is already been moved to this we have in PE area
Does not do very much except pile up the post in delivery office for next day

it was announced last July and agreement has only just been made to roll it out which will happen over the next few months. Some delivery offices have already been moved onto it as part of a trial happening over the last year or so.
I don't see how it will impact your OTDR. Letters have no tracking and they are not used in the OTDR calculation.
In theory letters should be delivered in 3 working days excluding Saturday so it should have very little impact. It may though be an idea at looking at excluding Saturday as a delivery day if you predominately use 2nd Class letters.
