Hazmat / Dangerous Goods Review Help - SDS Help
I am under Hazmat / Dangerous Goods review for My First Aid Kit, that I created.
I have completed the exemption paperwork and followed up yesterday. They said I have not provided enough information.
This is where I could use the help. I might be reading things wrong. It looks like I am suppose to fill out the exemption or send in SDS Sheets.
"Safety data sheets (SDS) are for chemical-based products that might be regulated as dangerous goods (see examples of common dangerous goods). If you cannot obtain an SDS for your product and it does not contain any harmful chemicals (such as alcohol, acid, or sodium), you can upload an exemption sheet for products without harmful chemicals. Download the appropriate template on the right side of this page. "
Do I need to add SDS Sheets?
If so Amazon Mentions "Your SDS form must match your product listing (for example, ASIN title should be the same as your SDS product name)"
How do I make my ASIN title match the SDS sheet when I have 6 products in the kit that contain liquid?
I have all the SDS sheets but none of them will match my title. I honestly dont know what to do and my listing is inactive so I am no longer able to sell and could use some advice on what someone else has done in the past when dealing with multiple items that wont match the ASIN title.
Thank you

As it doesn't look as though anyone with expertise in the area is going to answer, I'll take a stab.
According to this Seller Help page on Safety data sheets, "The product title or product name, as it appears on the Amazon detail page [bolding is mine], must match the same as the product name shown on the SDS". This sounds as though the product name and detail page have to match wherever the product appears on the page, not necessarily in the title.
Have you tried submitting the SDSs? Before you do, make sure the product name matches where it appears on the page, but I think I would go ahead and try to submit them. If there's a place for comments when you submit, point out where on the page the product appears and that they match.
Yes, if the products within the kit are considered hazardous, you'll need to submit them. Since your exemption submission didn't pass, that seems to indicate they're necessary. I don't know what's in your kit so can't answer whether the items are hazardous.

If you have a current case that you've opened with Seller Support, post the case ID for a Community Manager to look into, should one happen along.

many first aid kits contain alcohol as a disinfectant. If it contains alcohol in any form, it’s hazmat.
