Brand approval - what if brand is already registered on Amazon?
Hi,
We are looking to finally list on Amazon but have been experiencing several issues with brand - Amazon has told us that the same brand name has been registered/approved on Amazon. Does this mean that we are unable to list our products? We have no issues proving affixed brand logo etc. The approved brand name is also completely unrelated to what we are really selling. Does this also mean that if we apply for trademark, we might not be able to get brand approval on Amazon? What is the best solution here? Been really frustrating trying to list even 1 product. Appreciate anyone's help!

As you said, the brand name is not yet trademarked then this may be the case where another seller is also selling without getting the brand name trademarked and with brand approval only. if you still want to use that name as your brand name then first go for the trademark and do the brand registry
