We are on day 12 of waiting for approval to sell a brand

There is a particular brand that we sell where we were asked to get approval to sell that brand. We buy directly from the brand/manufacturer so we figured the process would be seamless. We have a LOA and we have invoices for the products we sell.

We placed a request to get approved to sell the brand we did this by submitting our LOA on Nov 15 and after waiting a week and hearing nothing we submitted the invoices under the same case. We still have not heard anything since then. Any help from the mods would be appreciated. This is extremely straightforward. We buy direct and we have permission to sell the brand from the brand owner/manufacturer. The case id is 16670183041.

Also we asked the brand to add us to their brand registry as an authorized user in hopes we would be able to get approval to sell via that way. The brand had no issues with this and sent us an invitation the same day. We accepted the invitation and for whatever reason the application is under "review" even though the invitation came directly from the brand owners. The case id for that is 16723635361

Any help from the mods would be greatly appreciated.

1. Although you didn't come right out and say the Brand name requested, the mist important part of the request is your invoice. Amazon knows what an invoice includes. An invoice is used when Your USA business has a retail commercial credit account with the manufacturer. Most all invoices include all of the following:

- YOUR: business name, business address, business phone, sales tax exempt number, your EIN number, your credit line, and terms of sale

- MANUFACTURER’S: address, phone, EIN number, account Rep’s name

- PRODUCT’S: quantity, SKU-Model number,

- DISCOUNTS PROCESSES ON THIS PURHASE: quantity, sale, specials

- TERMS OF SHIPPING: method, who pays, company used, tracking number

- TERMS OF PAYMENT: 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, interest assessed

Some have more, but they all use the same basic format. Even when you call and make a small online order and pay by credit card, an invoice is still sent to you separately containing all of the above.

If you purchased the items from a distributor using cash and carry, or on-line with a credit card, and paid sales tax on it, you are not buying wholesale from the manufacturer.

2. Letters of Authorizations, the trick request by Amazon.

Did you notice that Amazon always asks for a manufacturer’s invoice first, then asks for/or a letter of authorization? Amazon knows how businesses operate.

If you have a commercial retailers account with a manufacturer, your invoice as described above will suffice. You will not need a Letter of Authorization because the invoice says it all. If you really need one, your manufacturer Rep handling your account could get one for you.

If you do not actually have a commercial account with the manufacturer, Amazon knows companies will not give any letter of authorization to individuals without a commercial account.

3. Timing. At this time of the year Amazon cuts way back on accepting new sellers, new brands, and new products. Nothing against you, it is just to product buyers who may or may not have a problem with those 3 arenas. Things will go back to normal in January, if there is a normal.
