Fix Stranded Inventory - Inventory error

My listing is showing as “Inactive (Out of Stock)”, yet is also showing 208 items available. This is stranded inventory, but I can find no way to relist it or to correct the error. The reason showing on the fix stranded inventory page is Inventory Error. Even raising a case has yeilded no success. Can anyone help? This is crazy making.

Did you label it before sending it in or pay amazon to do it ?

Unfortunately there are several sellers on here the last week or so with stranded inventory - may be due to the warehouse changes for small and light ?!

The 208 items remaining are from a batch of 1000 which were sent to FBA a couple of months ago. It was initially blocked because we had returns but this suppression was lifted. However the next stage in this saga is that the 208 items sitting on a shelf somewhere and my listing is showing as out of stock. I am finding it impossible to contact anyone at Amazon. No telephone numbers work. The Help system tells me to restock, even though plainly there are 208 items available and the reason is inventory error. I feel like I am howling at the moon, going around and around the system looking for some way to get a human being to look and see that somehow the wrong button has been clicked.

All labels were put on in China prior to delivery. This is product I have sold over 3000 units of with no problems until now. My difficulty is finding a remedy to the problem.

Assuming that the product is labelled correctly, then this is not unusual.
I would guess that this inventory has fairly recently arrived at Amazon and is not fully checked in.
Wait, and I would lay good odds that it will go fully active in a few days.
