I do have goods that would retail for up to £3000 but there is no way I would consider even listing them on Amazon where a click of a button by a customer would end with a £3000 loss. Even If I changed my mind (I will not) I would not be willing to wait 4 years for full payment and worse still pay Amazon extra fees for the 4 year wait.
I had to check today’s date when reading this as I thought it may still be April 1st

I already have german customers waiting 2 months to pay for a £5 pound item with the ‘pay by invoice’ rip-off program, where I don’t get paid for months and amazon takes the earned interest off me. The last thing I need is for them to buy 20 of these items and spend decades paying it off.
I think these programs need looking into, because amazon is essentially just using frozen sellers funds as interest earners for themselves. How is this not misappropriation of funds? It’s no different than that bitcoin scandal where they were using customers’ money for their own investments.
